A while back when on one of my many double decker bus tours, I passed Madison Square Park. I saw this huge line and wondered what the fuss was all about. There is this restaurant called the Shake Shack in the park. Needless to say it went on my list of thing to do. All those people, must be somethin good right? Well today it was up to about 53 degrees, so one of my co-workers and I took the long walk to the East side. I figured the walk would warm us up and the chilly weather might deter people from going so the line might of been shorter. Well the walk did warm us up but the line was still long. We had to get it to go seeing how we were already 10 minutes late getting back from lunch and still had to walk 12 blocks.
I got the works. I mean if I'm waiting in line for an hour I am doing it up. My lunch consisted of a single cheeseburger, fries, and a Peanut Butter Shake. HEAVEN!!! The fries actually topped 5 Guys, if you can believe that. I was so ill after eating all that though. I didn't even eat that much on Thanksgiving. My stomach didn't know what to do. I couldn't wait to get home and just get into my stretchy pants. The pain sucked, but I'd do it all over again. That was some good eats!
